Operation Round Up

Navopache Electric Cooperative (NEC) is one of many electric cooperatives nationwide that offers a special program to support charitable organizations. The program, Operation Round Up ®, serves as a community service fundraising initiative. Operation Round Up ® enables co-op members to support worthy causes and assist others in their community. Members of NEC voluntarily participate in the program by rounding up their monthly bills to the nearest dollar. NEC then transfers the collected funds to Navopache Charitable Fund, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. 

Every quarter, the Navopache Charitable Fund, Inc. Board of Directors meets to review funding requests from different community organizations. After evaluating whether each request meets the necessary qualifications, the Board decides if it is eligible for a donation and determines the amount to be donated.
